London Scottish Football Club is delighted to announce Spire Healthcare as an official sponsor of the London Scottish Academy.

Spire Healthcare, the second largest private hospital provider in the UK, will provide vital financial support to the London Scottish Academy until at least June 2016.

Through the partnership Spire Healthcare practitioners will also offer mentoring to Academy players and provide access to their expertise across a range of medical specialities.

Spire Healthcare’s logo will feature prominently on London Scottish Academy training and leisure kit as well as on the London Scottish website and in the first team match day programme.

Spire Healthcare chief executive Rob Roger said: “We are very proud to sponsor the London Scottish Academy.

“We are passionate about looking after people and this extends beyond our hospitals and out in to the community through supporting sports clubs and other initiatives that help people lead healthy lives.”

London Scottish Academy manager, Corne Du Rand, said:  “On behalf of the Academy management and players, I would like to extend a huge thank-you to Rob Roger and Spire Healthcare for their great support.

“We are excited about the opportunities the Academy can give young talented players and the benefits it brings to London Scottish.

“What makes it more exciting is that our sponsor, Spire Healthcare, believe in what we do and wants to help deliver a strong and healthy Academy.”

London Scottish chief executive Kenny Baillie said: “The London Scottish Academy has an extremely important role to play in developing potential rugby stars of the future and having the support of Spire Healthcare is a huge boost as we aim to grow the Academy in the next five years.”
