TEAM NEWS: Scots host Nottingham at the RAG

25th January 2019
admin

London Scottish have started 2019 in positive fashion with a strong win over Hartpury College and a promising display away to Ealing Trailfinders, where they were unlucky to miss out on a second losing bonus point.

Head Coach Nic Rouse has made a few changes to the 22 that will welcome Nottingham to The Athletic Ground tomorrow at 3pm.

Two changes come in the front row as Jordan Brodley and Jonny Harris swap spots with Phil Cringle coming in for an injured Richard Palframan. Jimmy Litchfield comes in on the bench.

James Tyas continues in the second row meaning Scottish have four back rowers in their forward pack.

Rory Jennings shifts from inside centre to fly half as Jacob Perry is ruled out after picking up a head knock at Vallis Way.

Richie Vernon starts at 12 and will partner Tom Fowlie who moves into outside centre from the wing. Tom Griffiths was recalled to Saracens.

Miles Mantella shifts out to the wing as Matt Davidson starts at full back. Davidson was this week named in the Scotland Under 20 squad for the upcoming U20 Six Nations.

Bobby Beattie and Charlie Ingall have both recovered from injury and could feature from the replacements.
