London Scottish preseason match against Chinnor kicks-off tomorrow at 3pm at the RAG.
After a training day with Cardiff Blues a week ago, Scottish’s next preseason fixture is a friendly against Chinnor to which entry is free.
An agreement between both sides will see more replacements allowed than normal. Depending on the weather there may also be additional water breaks.
London Scottish player Craig Duncan has been released on loan to Chinnor and will be starting for them.
Looking forward to the game London Scottish head coach Graham Steadman said: “It gives us an opportunity to look at different combinations. It also gives us an opportunity to look at the younger guys that have come into the squad.”
Ahead of tomorrow’s fixture, club captain Lewis Wynne said: “Chinnor are sizing up to be a really good side, it’s going to be a tough game.
“These matches are massively important. It gives a chance to the players to stake their claim for the start of the season.
“We can also see if things that we’ve been working on in preseason are actually working or not, so we can then adjust. It gives us a chance to fine tune things ahead of that opening match of the season against Cornish Pirates.”
