Dave Morris has made three changes to his side that beat Cornish Pirates at home last Friday night at the Richmond Athletic Ground.

This Saturday’s game is a huge encounter for Scottish as they sit just one place above Rotherham who sit at the foot of the table in twelfth position.

Ewan McQuillin moves up to the starting side after returning from injury last week from the bench, he replaces Phil Cringle. Fraser Lyle also moves from the replacements to the starting side. Tjiuee Uanivi is away on International duty with Namibia so he is replaced by Jonathan Mills, who will captain the side.

Morris still faces an extensive list of players unavailable for selection with Dominic McGeekie, Matt Eliet, Rob Stevenson, Basil Strang, James Tyas and Jonny Harris all out with injuires. On top of that, Dino Waldren, Kyle Baillie and Uanivi are all on International duty, whilst Danny Kenny is serving the final game of his suspension after his red card against Hartpury College.

The returning McQuillin is partnered in the front row by Derrick Appiah and Isaac Miller. Ed Milne continues in the second row and joins Mils in the engine room.

The backrow remains unchanged, with experience on both flanks in the shape of Gregor Gillanders and Chris Walker. Last week’s Man of the Match, Joe Atkinson starts again at number eight.

Alex Walker and Player-Coach Jake Sharp line up as the half back combination with Ben Mosses and Ross Neal starting in the centres.

Ex-Scotland Sevens player Fraser Lyle comes in at full back, replacing Charlie Ingall with Craig Holland and Matt Williams as the wingers.

The bench remains unchanged from the Pirates win. Player-Coach Dan George, Ben Onyeama Christie and Phil Cringle all cover the front row. Matt Marley and Max Berry are the back row replacements. Ed Hoadley and ex-Sale Shark Charlie Ingall cover the backs.
