Kieran Treadwell says that the squad are looking forward to the challenge that the British and Irish Cup will bring, with the competition getting underway this Friday night at the Athletic Ground against Munster.
Treadwell is with Scottish on a dual registration deal from Harlequins, and is excited about the challenge of facing the Irish giants.
“We’re looking forward to facing Munster on Friday night. We will move on and train hard this week to prepare for the strength that they bring.”
The second-row added: “In the next couple of games we want to get back to winning ways and we believe that the British and Irish Cup gives us that opportunity.
“We are in a tough pool with Munster, Ospreys and Yorkshire Carnegie but we call relish the challenge.”
The Scots lost their fourth match in a row at home to Jersey last weekend, but Treadwell was quick to praise the opposition.
“Credit to Jersey, they had a game plan and executed it well. You can’t fault the effort from our boys, we were a bit loose in attack and at the breakdown which ultimately cost us.”
