The London Scottish Under 16s took part in a half time sevens game on the pitch during this weekend’s game with Moseley.
Fourteen players from London Scottish U16's took to the pitch at the Richmond Athletic Ground in a half time sevens game.
The boys used the day effectively by training in the morning in the pouring rain with London Scottish coaches Corné du Rand, Lee Prosser and Ross Peacock, as well as David Howells from the 1st XV.
The boys were given some expert sevens tuition and feedback afterwards indicated that they really enjoyed playing on the main pitch and also in front of the large crowd.
Lee Prosser: “It was fantastic having a player like David Howells come down and spend some time coaching them. He is a big idol to the players for all his achievements for the club over the past seasons.”
The U16s will now look forward to playing in a variety of sevens tournaments come the end of the season.
