London Scottish is looking to recruit a number of enthusiastic and talented community coaches to assist the Community team.
The successful applicants will be needed to assist the Community Development Manager during the week and on occasional weekends (home games).
The experience gained carrying out a variety of coaching related duties and working with a fully professional rugby club will stand the successful applicants in great stead for a career in coaching and sport development.
Key Duties:
Deliver regular coaching sessions to children and young people.
Assist the with the day to day running of the London Scottish schools and community programme.
Assist with rugby camps and other community events, including the 2016 Mini's Festival.
Deliver coaching sessions on London Scottish 1st XV home match days.
Help increase community outreach and engagement.
Candidates must possess the following key qualities/qualifications:
A passion and knowledge of sport, particularly rugby union.
A passion and past experience of coaching kids the game of rugby union within both a club and school environment.
An up to date and valid DBS check
Hold a minimum of UKCC Level 1 qualification, UKCC Level 2 desirable
Full UK drivers licence desirable
