London Scottish FC is recruiting a part time Team Manager to oversee the operational and logistical arrangements for the 1st XV Professional team for the 2014/15 Season
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics and Operations
· To manage and coordinate the operational and logistical arrangements for all 1st XV travel and accommodation
· To communicate all match day timings to the selected 1st XV playing squad and coaching and support staff team
· Pre match day to liaise with the opposition team and officials to confirm playing kit colours to avoid colour clashes, match day timings and other relevant information
· Checking the match day squad to ensure compliance with registration, EQP and foreign player requirements
Budget Management
· To set and manage the playing and match day kit, transport and rugby equipment budgets
· Adherence to these budgets and notification to DoR/CFO if any spending difficulties
Kit
· Order and distribute all playing and leisure kit for 1st XV squad and coaching and support staff
· Liaise with commercial department regarding designs and ordering of playing shirts
On Match Days
· Liaise with match officials regarding timings and team declerations
· To lead on the notification of substitutions to the 4th official during 1st XV games
· Allocation and distribution of players tickets for away games
· To lead on the preparation of changing rooms on match days – prior to the squad arrival
· Responsibility for all playing kit and rugby equipment on game days
· To ensure all 1st XV kit is laundered after each match
· Driving the team kit van to all away games if required
With the Commercial Department
· Allocating players to commercial department projects as required
· Ensuring player appearances are spread equally amongst all members of the 1st XV squad
