Tyler Hotson says that the London Scottish squad are very focused on continual improvement and are keen to finish as high up the table as they can.
The Canadian lock scored a try in the recent win over Bedford Blues and says that the squad are focused on building upon the improvement shown on the pitch in recent games.
Hotson: “We’re looking to build some consistency and start putting regular wins together. There’s still a lot of improvement to come and we’re still working extremely hard in training each week. We’re still only approaching the season one game at a time – we’re not getting too far ahead of ourselves. We’d like to finish as high as we can in the table this year and keep improving on a weekly basis.”
Hotson is fully aware of the threats that Nottingham will pose when they visit the Athletic Ground this weekend and says that the team will have to be at their very best when the Green and Whites come to town.
Hotson: “Nottingham are a quality side and they’ve got a very good set piece. They’re effective in every area of the field so, from our side of things, we’ll have to take every opportunity that is presented to us. We’ll have to be absolutely spot on all over the pitch and we can’t afford any lapses. They’re the second best team in the league so we’ll have to bring our absolute best performance.”
