Fixtures for the 2019/20 season have been finalised and tickets will go on sale from Monday 5th August.
We now have confirmed times and dates for all our games, both in the Greene King IPA Championship and the Champions Cup, which you will be able to find on the website and via our social media channels.
The release of our fixtures has been slightly hampered by several factors; fixture clashes with Richmond, agreeing times and dates with opposing sides, and the uncertainty up until the end of last week regarding who the twelfth team in the both competitions would be. We now know that Yorkshire Carnegie will be remaining.
Everything will kick off two weeks later than in previous years, with the first four matches of the season being played at home. So please come along and show your support for the team when they get their campaign underway on Saturday 21st September against Cornish Pirates at the RAG.
This match was originally meant to be played down in Penzance, but on the request of Cornish Pirates we have switched our Championship Cup games over so we will now be playing them away in December.
The first three fixtures of the season are in the Championship Cup in which our opponents are the Pirates, Nottingham and Yorkshire Carnegie – we are playing them in that order.
We then head into the Greene King IPA Championship where our first game will be against Newcastle Falcons, who join us this year from the Premiership.
Friday night matches are going to become more common, with six home fixtures being played on Friday evenings. This is after a higher than normal clash between our and Richmond’s fixture list.
This year we welcome Ampthill to the league, a team we have never faced before. We will welcome them to the RAG on Saturday 26th October.
You will all have to wait until the start of the New Year to watch us play against our local rivals Ealing Trailfinders at the end of January.
The Greene King IPA Championship season will finish against the same side we kicked things off against seventh months prior, Newcastle Falcons, at Kingston Park on Saturday 9th May.
We look forward to seeing you at the RAG in September.
