London Scottish hosted a successful St Andrew’s Day Dinner and Dance at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in Marble Arch on Saturday 8th December 2012.
The actual St Andrew's Day may have been a week prior but that didn't matter to the near 200 people that had made their way to the Radisson Blu Portman in Marble Arch.
Once they had arrived, guests were treated to a drinks reception, a three course meal, an auction for unique items and, of course, the all important ceilidh dancing.
Stakeholders, board members, sponsors, players and fans all revelled in the St Andrew's Day atmosphere from start to finish. The laughs were provided by Roger Dakin, MC for the evening, as he spoke at intervals and also led the auction.
The Ship Band was then on hand to provide the music as for the ceilidh dancing as, for a couple of hours, the dancefloor was populated with enthusiastic guests.
London Scottish would like to thank all guests who attended and we hope to see you (and more!) again in 2013.
