London Scottish will welcome Harlequins to the RAG on Saturday 27th August at 3 pm for a pre-season friendly. This fixture comes off the back of a new strategic partnership between the two clubs which will see both sides working closely together for mutual benefit.
Just two weeks before the start of the Championship season London Scottish Fans will get to see their side in action against one of England’s premier rugby sides featuring some of the best players in the game.
Commenting on the announcement, London Scottish Director of Rugby Bryan Redpath said, “all of the squad are extremely excited to have the opportunity to play against Harlequins on our own patch and I’m sure our supporters will be too. It is a great chance to strengthen our relationship with our partners and it will also be a fantastic curtain raiser for the start of the season.”
Tabai Matson, Direct of Rugby at Harlequins, said “we’re excited to get our pre-season fixtures underway with a great match against Scottish next month. This is one of the first stages of our recently announced strategic partnership and will give us a chance to see where we are in a game situation for the first time this season.”
