Scottish have signed experienced centre/wing Rodd Penney on loan from Saracens for an undisclosed period of time.
Following minor injuries to Oli Grove and Stephen Hihetah, Penney has joined in order to provide some back up to the squad.
He has become a crowd favourite at Vicarage Road since his move around the M25 from London Irish at the start of the 2006/07 season and has represented Saracens 100 times.
A first team regular on the wing or at centre, the powerful running back scored seven tries in his debut season with the club and he followed that up with a further eight scores in 2008/09.
Born in New Zealand, but English qualified, Penney has represented England Sevens in the past.
He will go straight in to the matchday squad to face Cornish Pirates this Saturday. To read a full match preview and purchase tickets, please click here.
