London Scottish Rugby Club is one of the world’s most recognisable rugby brands.
The Club is 140 years old, and its players have included almost a quarter of all Scotland’s internationals and four British Lions Captains. We are very proud that we now provide rugby for all from U6 to a full-time professional squad playing in the English Championship.
We are now looking to attract ahead coach to lead the amateur senior club as
we start a new journey next season.
Senior amateur rugby will consist of three teams, one of which will begin a very exciting new chapter for the club, with academy prospects to be generated too.
The Club is based in the heart of Richmond, benefiting from the excellent transport links, with great, playing and social facilities on-site and in the local vicinity.
The ideal candidate will be a highly ambitious individual with more than five years’ experience with a level 2 coaching qualification, with Level 3 or 4 desired, who would relish the opportunity to help grow our amateur club in terms of playing numbers and standards backed fully by the resources of a professional club.
The candidate will need to be available for training nights on Monday and Wednesday from 18:45 to 21.00 in Richmond, and on Saturday for match days. Away matches are generally no more than an hour from the club’s ground Richmond.
Salary will be very competitive.
The role will commence on July 2nd and the closing date for applications will be May 15th.
